Focus on: Tuscany

Tuscany is a region in the west of Italy that borders Liguria to the Northwest, Emilia-Romagna to the North, Marche to the Northeast, Umbria to the East and Lazio to the Southeast. Its rolling hills filled with vineyards, olive trees, castles and cypresses are some of the most picturesque found anywhere in the world.

Besides being known for its natural beauty, Tuscany also excels in its local produce. Pappardelle al cinghiale, Bistecca Alla Fiorentina and Pappa al pomodoro are some of the famous dishes that one shouldn’t miss when in the area. The most famous produce of the region however must be wine. San Gimignano, Chianti Classico, Bolgheri, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, all names that will sound like music to the ears of any wine lover. Due to its optimal geological and climatic conditions Tuscany is able to produce unique wines that simply cannot be imitated anywhere else.
