Robert Parker: "Lapierre's 2020 Morgon offers up aromas of plummy fruit and raspberries mingled with hints of petals and spices. Medium-bodied, satiny and enveloping, its succulent core of fruit is framed by melting tannins and mouthwatering acids. This thirst-quenching, fruit-driven Morgon is one of the purest, most precise young wines I've tasted from this address in recent years."
James Suckling: "Lots of red and black bramble fruit on the nose with flowers, wet earth, old vine, moss and citrus peel, following through to a medium-to full-bodied palate with light, round tannins and a bright, vivid finish. It develops beautifully in the glass giving more and more purity of fruit and creamy round tannins. From one of the masters of Beaujolais." (2019 vintage)
This is a natural wine without added yeasts and with very little, or no added sulphites. This leads to wines with great purity of fruit but might also lead to more outspoken aromas. Beware that this style might be different from what you are used to when drinking conventional wines.
