James Suckling (97/100): "Very refined and fresh with stony and chalky aromas, as well as a gentle, gingerbread and spiced-fruit edge. The palate has vibrant and energetic texture with fresh-nectarine and juicy-apple flavors. The upbeat acidity drives freshness into the salty, mineral finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Try from 2024." Robert Parker (95/100): "Marketed as grand cru since 2013, the 2017 Langenmorgen G.C. is freaky pure and untamed on the clear and precise, deep, fine and elegant nose, with vanilla bean flavors. Lush and creamy on the palate, this is a very elegant, pure and persistently salty Riesling with a very long, juicy and concentrated finish. Highly complex and elegant, this 2017 is far too young to be served today. It's a great wine to be cellared for at least another 5-7 years. Tasted in Wachenheim in December 2019."
